Nurse Practitioner, Primary Office Location: Joplin ESC, Women's Clinic

General Description
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for clinical consultations, examinations, referrals, and follow up to clinic patients under the direction of the Medical Director and division
director.
Responsibilities
- The Nurse Practitioner provides direction to Nurse Assistants and volunteers during clinic operations;
- Provides in-depth consultations to patients on medical and gynecological problems, including problem pregnancies, problems relating to contraceptive methods, infertility
problems, sterilization, etc.;
- Conducts complete physical examinations, performs pap and Gen Probe tests, dispenses supplies, schedules return visits, and provides counseling on birth control methods;
- Makes appropriate referrals for women's health patients to medical or social service agencies as necessary;
- Supervises or performs lab work, including hemoglobin, urinalysis and wet mount tests and notifies patients of abnormal test results;
- Provides breast examinations and instructs patients on self-breast examininations and sex educations including STDs;
- Examines, diagnoses and treats vaginal infections;
- Makes recommendations to improve clinic operations and patient services to the division director;
- Participates in writing protocols and clinical service plans as required.
Minimum Qualifications Required
The Nurse Practitioner must be a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Missouri, as a women's health or as a family nurse practitioner. Must have
reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and must meet Missouri Automobile liability minimum requirements. Must pass background screenings.

Home Visitor, Primary Office Location: Jasper County, Joplin Early Head Start

General Description
The Home Visitor is a professional position providing intensive support services to participating families and is the primary contact for families in the Early Head Start Program.
The Home Visitor works to empower families in the areas of parenting, child development, health, nutrition, self-sufficiency, and family relationships. They also teach problem solving skills
and assist families in assessing community resources and existing service systems. They assist with recruiting and ensure that all necessary services are provided to program families.

Minimum Qualifications Required
Must have a Baccalaureate degree in Education, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or Consumer Science from a four-year college or university; Or one to three years related experience
and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have intermediate computer skills, basic math skills, and language skills on a professional level. Must have
valid driver's license, have reliable transportation, and meet Missouri Automobile liability minimum requirements. Must pass agency background screenings.

Bus Driver, Primary Office Location: Carthage Head Start
Starting pay for this part-time, position is $9.27 per hour. Please reference Job No. BD-C8-02 when applying for this position.
General Description
The Bus Driver transports Head Start children and parents to and from the Head Start Center on a daily basis. May also provide transportation to medical and dental appointments and to other
locations involved in the Head Start program. Ensures compliance with Missouri Child Care licensing requirements and state law regarding the mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect.
The driver will perform minor preventative maintenance on their bus, and maintain records related to operation/maintenance of the vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications Required
The Bus Driver must have or be able to obtain Class "C" CDL with verifiable good driving record; Must have/or obtain current first aid/CPR certificate, and must complete 12 hours of Continuing

screenings.
